Brookside Center opened its doors in 1981 in a house belonging to St. Philips Episcopal Church on West 33rd Street in Cleveland. After relocating to 3784 Pearl Road in Cleveland, Brookside Center continues to provide people in need with emergency food service, comprehensive outreach, educational opportunities, low-cost/free clothing and household items, childrens enrichment activities, two weekly support group meetings, and employment services. In addition, the community is invited to participate in two diversity workshops each year and the annual Multicultural and Health Festival each summer. This program helps people take the necessary steps toward self-sufficiency, and it celebrates our cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity
